Advertising is everywhere… Literally! Before taking Intro to
Advertising, I never really considered or thought about ad agencies and who
creates all these advertisements we see in print or on TV via commercials.
After searching for different ad agencies I never imagined how many exist there
are many that are well known and also many more that are much smaller. I wasn’t
really sure where to start so I decided to start with the idea of Makeup. Why?! Because makeup is what drew me to advertising. So I researched MAC Cosmetics which is so popular and very well known in the Makeup Industry. After looking into MAC, I found that Plus, a boutique agency located in New York was founded by Judy Welfare and Jeremy Hollister, has worked along side of MAC Cosmetics for over nine years to develop story-led campaigns. Plus has a wonderful philosophy in which they believe in the power of story, and that every brand has a story to tell.
